GloboPlastt – company profile



GloboPlastt s.r.o. was established in 2008 by merging Slovak company Plastt spol. s r.o. and Canadian company Globopro paper Inc.

The intention of establishing a company GloboPlastt s.r.o. was to bring a new company to European market which would continue in a successful tradition of Plastt spol. s r.o. by building on experience and innovative thoughts of North American company Globopro paper Inc. with the aim to succeed in continually expanding international competition.

The intention already started to flourish at the turn of 2008/2009 when GloboPlastt increased its customer base on European market.

In 2009, GloboPlastt s.r.o. became part of international corporation SIG (Signode Industrial Group) and since then an existing part of SIG Metals group porfolio. 


One of the main activities of GloboPlastt s.r.o. is production and distribution of packaging materials for steel and metallurgical industry at which it has great experience. This experience with production of packaging materials are dating back to 1995 when Slovak predecessor Plastt spol. s r.o. started to produce various kinds of packaging materials.

GloboPlastt s.r.o., as a member of SIG, can currently offer wide range of packaging materials and technological devices that can cover all needs not only of its existing customers but also potential customers. GloboPlastt is a dynamically developing company which offers its customers a broad portfolio of products and services.

Main production activities of company include:

  • Production of various laminated products made of paper, fabrics, films and textiles
  • Production of PE films
  • Printing/Print of various materials 


Among basic priorities of GloboPlastt s.r.o. belong constant improvement of production quality, customers satisfaction and environmental protection.

Production plant and offices are located in Ličartovce, Slovakia.
